A healthcare clinic in Texas is currently seeking a Pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician to join their team. This role focuses on providing care to pediatric patients while supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a supportive and collaborative clinic environment.
About the Opportunity :
Hybrid or Remote : Onsite only
Shift : Day shift / one per month
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
Setting : Pediatric clinic with adjacent urgent care facility
Responsibilities :
The Pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician will be responsible for :
- Providing direct patient care for pediatric patients (ages 4-17), focusing on ADHD medication management, including Schedule 2 drugs
- Conducting patient visits with 15-minute slots for established patients and 30-minute slots for new patients
- Supervising 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) by performing chart reviews and offering clinical guidance
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team using Athena EMR system
- Ensuring adherence to high-quality clinical standards
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (preferred in pediatrics or family medicine)
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Active Texas Medical License and DEA Registration
Proficiency in ADHD medication management, including Schedule 2 drugs
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Team-oriented, approachable, and adept with technology
Desired Skills :
Experience in a pediatric clinical setting
Board Certification in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
