We are seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Care Team in Duluth, MN. This position involves managing psychiatric patients in the emergency department, leading care rounds, and providing consultation to a Level 1 Trauma Center in a collaborative care environment. The ideal candidate will work .8 FTE with a shared call responsibility in a community rich in natural beauty and cultural activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the care of psychiatric patients in the emergency department, including leading care rounds, triage, and evaluation.
- Provide consultation to a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Participate in a rotating coverage on a newly developed 6 bed crisis stabilization unit.
- Join a group of 8 adult and 4 child and adolescent psychiatrists as part of a Behavioral Health Care Team.
- Collaborate with doctoral level psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RNs, and clinical assistants.
