This person will support within our Commercial Vehicle Steering Systems portfolio. What you can look forward to as an Engineering Project Manager:
- Set up, track, and ensure the technical project plan is in compliance with the Product Engineering Process. Analyze and Resolve Risks & Problems during the Development Phase
- Interface with the Team Leader to ensure proper engineering staffing and skills. Manage all engineering domains within the project scope and timing according to PEP
- Responsibility for all PE Expenses in the Project according to the project business case. Achieve product target costs within the technical development
- Prepare gate reviews and ensure targets for review are met
- Define, track and ensure the technical project packages as defined in the PEP and WPCP
- Manage and ensure the product maturity within the development regarding:
- Fulfillment of the customer specifications
- Fulfillment of the quality requirements of our customers and ZF
- Fulfillment of safety regulations and legal requirements
- Act as the technical customer interface and internal technical interface within PE
- Initiate and manage project escalations on QCD, actively taking initiatives to bring project back to track
- Coordinate the product validation and prototype activities in cooperation with the test center
- Provide onsite support of production sites during product launches
Your Profile as an Engineering Project Manager:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering or Project Management in the automotive industry
- Successful management of at least two projects over the Full Project Life-cycle
- Experience in team management and budget management
- Experience working within a Global matrix environment
- Excellent Knowledge of Automotive SPICE , ISO 26262 & IATF 16949
