What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Regional Marketing NA position at ZF Group?
Reporting to the Head of Aftermarket Region, NA and the Head of Global Strategic Marketing, the Head of Regional Marketing for North America will drive both global and regional initiatives to fuel growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer loyalty. The Head of Regional Marketing will focus on tracking KPIs and executing strategic plans will directly contribute to sales growth and profitability in the independent aftermarket.
What you can look forward to as the Head of Regional Marketing, NA:
- Plan, manage, staff, develop & motivate agile, diverse & high-performing Team.
- Lead Local insight development with Sales and BLs to inform Annual marketing / Comms plan development & prioritization with the global marketing team.
- Collaborate with Central to create our Global Marketing & Communication / Events strategic plans, with prioritized initiatives and budget allocated across global BLs, central functions & Regions.
- work with the central teams to implement & monitor the roll out of strategically aligned programs of activity and promotions across different internal and external media channels (paid, owned and earned) across all target audience groups e.g., employees, and specific customer audiences.
- Work with the central team to monitor results and assess performance within region, to share synergies, leverage learning and drive scale across countries & BLs to improve our Marketing efficiency & Marketing ROI, Globally.
- Ensure deployment of consistent market messaging, brand governance and effective content marketing in NA to enforce push effects & trigger customer pull for all categories
- Oversee the optimized allocation of resources / regional marketing budgets based on advanced marketing analytics towards aligned strategies.
Profile description:
Your Profile as the Head of Regional Marketing, NA:
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- 8 years proven experience in several marketing roles, ideally in automotive aftermarket or strong B2B brands
- 4 years' experience in building, scaling and leading marketing teams in international matrix organizations, ideally with experience leading regional field marketing teams
- Strong experience and thought leadership in Marketing & Communications for B2B and B2C
- Entrepreneurial, analytical and growth mindset with an excellent understanding of customer-centricity and customer journeys as well as strong knowledge of market and customers
- Ability to develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and goals, and excellent skills to lead by influence, empowerment, coaching, role modeling and human leadership
- Ability to manage ambiguity by bringing clarity through excellent stakeholder tailored communication, clear vision and goal setting which is easy to understand
- Must be authorized in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

The expected base compensation for this role is $118,800 - $148,500 annually. Actual base compensation will vary based on a variety of factors relevant to the position. In addition, this role is also eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan which is based on company performance.
