What you can look forward to as a Mechanic in Commercial Vehicle :
- Performs all duties of Tech I & II as described on job descriptions
- Inspects and reports failure analysis of product and parts
- Reassembly of gearboxes including implementing product updates
- Tests product to ensure functionality
- Diagnosing / Troubleshooting gearboxes
- Works independently and may travel locally to customer locations.
- Work on D.O.T.. safety sensitive product
- Performs related tasks as assigned.
Your Profile as a Mechanic in Commercial Vehicle :
Physical demands : While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand for extended periods of time; 60 minutes continuously up to 6 hours per 10 hour day, walk up to 2 miles per day, handle or feel objects and / or tools; operate power tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; bend, verbally communicate; and hear safety indicators. The associate must frequently an repetitively lift and / or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
