Job description: About the team:
The accounting team in Duncan, South Carolina supports our CY - Chassis Systems Division. They work to ensure all accounting functions and business operations are handled efficiently and effectively.
What you can look forward to as Senior Financial Accountant:
- Coordinate AR/AP Activities for corporate entity.
- Setup and monitor Internal Orders.
- Provide guidance to various internal customers to improve reporting processes, data flow, and data analysis with the intent of providing actionable information.
- Develop processes and strategies by working with cross-functional teams; manage process initiatives to ensure business requirements are incorporated and objectives are achieved.
- Prepare journal entries as needed for closing.
- Prepare monthly corporate allocation reports.
- Assist the Plant Controller with the annual business plan and forecasting tools.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for review by the Controller and submission to corporate office.
- Serve as backup in absence of the Accounting Manager.
- Assist Plant Controller and Regional Controller with other special projects and accounting duties.
- Perform other Accounting Duties as required.
- Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives.
Your profile as Senior Financial Accountant:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years related experience
- SAP Experience.
- Excellent spreadsheet and PC skills mandatory.
- Experience with multi-currency international business.
