- Clean, sandblast and / or paint product and parts
- Disassemble transmission or valve body
- Pack, label and palletize transmissions
- Preassembles product.
- Assembles transmission or valve body.
- Inspects clean parts.
- Performs related tasks as assigned.
Your Profile as a Transmission Mechanic
Physical demands : While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand for extended periods of time; 60 minutes continuously up to 6 hours per 10 hour day, walk up to 2 miles per day, handle or feel objects and / or tools; operate power tools; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; bend, verbally communicate; and hear safety indicators. The associate must frequently and repetitively lift and / or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
