Logistics Operator III GC, Outbound (off-shift)

Position Summary: Primary responsibility of this position is to support all Out-Bound and In-House Logistics Functions. This position will also serve as a positive mentor to level I & II Logistics Operators.
Essential Functions:
- Receive, check, count, verify, sort, and classify incoming and outgoing materials
- Perform SAP functions related to Shipping or Receiving
- Unload and load incoming or outgoing material using a forklift
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
- Store Finished Goods in the assigned location in the warehouse using Bendi/ ForkLift and SAP
- Meet or exceed quality, productivity, and cost standards within assigned work area
- Load and Unload Automatic Storage Retrieval System
- Operate all equipment in accordance with standard work practices within assigned work area
- Clean, organize, and ensure 5S standards are maintained in the warehouse assuring a safe and sanitary work area
- Train Logistics Operator I and II according to job assignment and certification process
- Operate Tugger as required
- Store and organize finished Transmissions
- Assist in Physical Inventories
- Satisfactorily perform all essential functions and, if necessary, fill in for a Logistics Operator I and II
- Perform daily check of material handling equipment and dock doors for ensuring safe operation
- Transport pallets to production lines from work in-process areas
- Comply with company, OSHA, and MSDS standards
- Turn off and Lock out equipment when not in use
- Respond to Inquiries of other departments for providing information and/or direction regarding the status of deliveries
- Fill Part Issuance Requests (PIR)
- Assist in maintaining records of received or shipped goods
- Provide feedback to supervisor regarding area performance
- Confer with other areas to coordinate activities of each department and serve internal customers
- Assist in maintaining records of received goods
- Verify and document all sealed containers of foreign shipments. When Required
- Perform duties in line with FTZ requirements
- Load AGV dollies
- Comply with Company, OSHA, and MSDS Standards
Essential Skills and experience:
- High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
- Previous forklift experience/license
- Must pass ZF Vision Test
- Meet all essential skills and experience requirements for a Logistics Operator I and II
Preferred Skills and experience:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Knowledge of SAP
