About the Team: The Manufacturing Engineer will work integrally with maintenance technicians, the maintenance facilitator, engineers and other plant personnel in the analysis of process problems and troubleshooting machining and assembly equipment problems as needed for proper process operation. They are also responsible for selecting and implementing equipment in the facility.

- Design changes to enhance the machine functionality.
- Continuously improve and upgrade equipment.
- Troubleshoot and solve errors and problems on production equipment.
- Plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency..
- Confer with design staff concerning product design to ensure efficient production methods.
- Determine product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing, or parts according to specifications and quality standards.
- Assess potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling, and fixturing.
- Plan the evolution of the equipment and perform acceptance evaluation according to specifications.
- Responsible for the implementation of the equipment on the floor from delivery to hand-off to production.
- Plan production times, staffing requirements, and related costs of production equipment to provide information for management decisions.
- Responsible for creating procedures, PFMEA’s, and workflows to meet industry standards.
- Other duties as it relates to this position.
Your Profile as a Manufacturing Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 3 years of experience with strong functional/product knowledge
- Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office, specifically Excel experience
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Expert-level knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of product line(s) and engineering design principles
