We are looking for a new colleague to join our Tax Department at our location in Northville, MI and assume responsibility for enforcing and monitoring the Transfer Pricing policies and rules across ZF’s Divisions and Regions.

What you can look forward to as the Transfer Pricing Manager:

• Responsible for local tax and statutory audits/reviews on transfer pricing-related matters for North America.

• Responsible for enforcement and monitoring of the Transfer Pricing policies and rules across Divisions and Regions.

• Responsible for analyzing IC transactions, value allocation and identification of errors and opportunities to improve ZFs global compliance and risk position.

• Support in the design and feasibility / risk assessment of transfer pricing structuring options globally, including implementation of selected transfer pricing business models. This requires the execution of multiple transfer pricing projects and competing priorities in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment and involves responsibilities in both transfer pricing technical analysis (e.g., intangible assets valuation, royalties etc.) and working with a variety of stakeholders and both external advisors and internal resources.

• Provide advice on transfer pricing implications for new business initiatives.

• Actively support the implementation of changes in business models and transfer pricing strategies.

• Manage external advisors in North America regarding transfer pricing engagements and relationships with tax authorities/special examiners in the US/CDN and Mexico.

• Monitor legislative changes on transfer-pricing and derive recommendations for ZF.

Your profile as the Manager for Transfer Pricing:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Economics or similar discipline

• 8 years of experience in Tax Transfer Pricing roles with experience in at least one of the areas noted below:

  • tax-aligned supply chain management;

  • business model optimization, including IP structures and associated valuation methodologies;

  • Big 4 Advisory or in-house at large global headquarter MNE

• Strong technical knowledge of OECD, global and US transfer pricing regulations and associated international tax issues

• Excellent MS Excel and Office skills

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and attention to detail

• SAP knowhow is a plus

• Multi-jurisdictional experience would be an asset

• Additional language skills, including Spanish, would be an asset
