Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Property Damage Specialist to join our team in a potential long-term capacity. The specialist will be responsible for assessing and analyzing property and land damage, including evaluating cases of trespass, and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings. This role will involve working with legal teams to review evidence, prepare reports, and offer professional insights into property damage and land disputes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze property and land damage resulting from various incidents, including construction, trespass, and other environmental factors.
- Review documentation, photographs, maps, and other evidence to evaluate the extent of damage.
- Provide expert testimony in court or other legal settings regarding property damage, trespass, and land use disputes.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, analyses, and expert opinions.
- Collaborate with attorneys, contractors, and other parties to develop case strategies.
- Respond to inquiries and assist legal teams with technical knowledge on property damage and land use issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property damage assessment, land surveying, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of land use laws, property damage, and trespass.
- Experience in preparing reports and providing testimony in legal cases (depositions, court testimony).
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly to non-experts and in legal contexts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling cases involving construction, environmental damage, or land use disputes.
- Knowledge of the utility industry or experience with large-scale infrastructure projects is a plus.
- Certification or specialized training in property damage assessment or land surveying.

Pay: $62,596.00 - $73,265.00 per year
