What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photographer + Creative Manager position at Zia Tile?

ZIA TILE PHOTOGRAPHER CREATIVE MANAGER

Seeking an experienced creative who can excel in both creative and organizational functions. This is a full-time role, hybrid role that covers numerous bases including ownership of Zia’s asset library, organic social media management, and autonomous photography and content creation for web and social channels. This role will report to our Director of Marketing and work alongside a Senior Photographer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PHOTO VIDEO

Ideate and shoot Zia Tile Collection for web
Develop and pitch strategic creative direction for still and video projects
Manage and execute in-house product shoots featuring tile for ecommerce and lifestyle placements
Personally handle editing, color-correction, and formatting of final assets

CREATIVE ASSET MANAGEMENT / Ownership of Zia’s expansive asset library

Image tagging and uploading

Organizing library around new tile lines and SKUs

Eyeing social media tags for purchase consideration

Liaising with photographers and designers to negotiate and license content

ORGANIC SOCIAL MEDIA

Manage visual assets for social media

Create and edit owned Pinterest boards

Edit and tee up shots for Zia’s Instagram grid

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years in creative content production as as photographer, videographer, and editor

Must have extensive product photography experience both without and with models - interiors, beauty, and small luxury goods are a great fit

Experience managing Pinterest and Instagram accounts

Breadth of style and design capability

Creative thinker, confident in developing and pitching big ideas

Excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a small team

Must provide portfolio of past work

Must reside in Los Angeles, CA
