Role Summary:

As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from resident relations to financial management. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to create a welcoming and well-maintained living environment.

Responsibilities:

Resident Relations:

• Maintain a positive customer service attitude, ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Address resident complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular communication with residents to build strong relationships.
  
  

Property Inspections And Maintenance:

• Physically inspect the property regularly to assess its condition and safety.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards.
  
  

Leasing And Marketing:

• Welcome prospective residents and showcase the property.
• Handle incoming phone calls from potential residents.
• Complete necessary paperwork for lease agreements.
  
  

Financial Management:

• Assist in formulating budgets for each calendar year.
• Monitor expenses and stay within established budget guidelines.
• Track rental income, handle rent collection, and manage financial records.
  
  

Personnel Management:

• Conduct safety training for new employees.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  
  

Compliance And Legal Matters:

• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and other applicable laws.
• Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust practices accordingly.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must-Have: Experience with Yardi software.
• Minimum three years of on-site property management experience.
• Successful track record of accomplishments in property management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
  

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi Voyager (or similar programs).

Compensation:

• Competitive pay plus benefits.
• Quarterly bonus: Easily achievable $1,000 based on meeting simple Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Monthly renewal bonus: $125 shared among all employees at the property.
• Annual salary range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift (40 Hrs/week)
• Monday to Friday. (9AM-6PM)
• Weekends as needed.
• Full-time, In-Person.
  
  

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred).
• CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) Preferred.
  
  

Ability To Commute:

• Kalamazoo, MI 49001 (Preferred).
