What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Assistant, Dental Lab position at Ziemek Dental Laboratory Inc?
Ziemek Dental Laboratory is a growing, best in class digital dental laboratory with over 30 years of industry experience. We have an immediate opportunity for a Production Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for helping with planning and optimizing daily production of all Ziemek products. This includes monitoring production and identifying and fixing problems.
The Production Assistant will be responsible for:
- Navigating and updating lab production software
- Monitoring all communication channels internally and externally to schedule and delegate work
- Address cases stalled in production
- Communicate with department managers to resolve problems with staffing schedules and conflicts
Qualifications:
- College degree (A.A. or B.A.) and 2 years of relevant experience; tooth anatomy/dental knowledge preferred
- Computer literacy, including working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Visio, Word) and ability to quickly learn new dental software (Magic Touch)
- Ability to type 50 wpm
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail, organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests while maintaining a calm demeanor
- Ability to maintain regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Pay Range: $22 – $25/hour, DOE
