Waiter/Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen ability to enhance the dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our patrons have an enjoyable visit.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and answering any initial questions.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Clear tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area.
• Process cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Experience with sales techniques, particularly in upselling menu items.
• Proficiency in using cash registers and familiarity with Aloha POS systems is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
