What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processor/Administrative Office Assistant position at Zilka and Company?

We are a family-owned and operated bakery supply distributor looking for a long-term, hard-working and committed person to add to our growing team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Enter customer orders into computer system
  • Ensure data is entered accurately, efficiently and within set timeframes
  • Communicate directly with our sales staff about any changes to their orders
  • Responsible for making sure all information entered is accurate before order is given to warehouse staff to pick
  • Handle incoming customer calls and inquiries
  • File invoices and other documents daily
  • Provide customer service support
  • Assist supervisors and staff with company projects and tasks
  • Develop an understanding of the company’s products and services
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to use touch typing technique; processer can use all ten fingers to type without having to look at a keyboard
  • Computer proficiency
  • Filing and telephone experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently

SCHEDULE
  • Full-time.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 8-hour shift.
Work location: In person
