What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cloud Engineer position at Zillion Technologies, Inc.?
Strong experience in AWS Cloud Automation responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based database systems while leveraging automation, scalability, and reliability of the systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Database management: Design, implement, and maintain Cloud based DBs like AWS Aurora, MongoDB Atlas, Document DB, Neptune, Dynamo DB, Elastic Cache using AWS services
- Cloud Automation: Develop automation, workflows for provisioning, configuration, backups, patching, and scaling using tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Python etc.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Rafay) to manage infrastructure as Code.
Qualifications
- Need to have 7 years of DB experience minimum
- Must have a strong DB background in architecture / engineering with AWS automation
- Automation with CFT’s and Terraform
- Be able to able to deal with DB masking, provisioning, automation etc
- Have experience with as many DB’s as possible but must have one of either Mongo or Aurora
- Must have 2 of the three: Python , Ansible, PowerShell
