ServiceNow Developer/Engineer(hybrid - Ashburn, Virginia, Only locals)

Position Title: ServiceNow Developer / Engineer

Location: Ashburn, Virginia - Hybrid role with 1 to 2 days onsite and the rest remote( No relocation candidates)

Open on both w2 and c2c

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, configures and customizes ServiceNow objects.
• Helps departments evaluate new requirements and solution them within the ServiceNow environment.
• Supports the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for custom/contract development like our Link Service portal.
• Third tier support for any ServiceNow reported incidents
• Maintains the ServiceNow instance between the various platforms (Development, Test, and Production)
• Performs application maintenance for updates and performance monitoring.
• Identifies and remedies any errors or issues within the platform.
• Manages incident resolution.
• Recommends upgrades and plans the upgrade process with our vendors (if applicable).
• Works closely with the DIT Security team on access control and security compliance.
• Supports developers with any access that they may need
