Position: Sr. Tableau Developer for Oracle Federal Financials
Location: Silver Spring, Maryland (hybrid - 2 days a week)

Job Description/Responsibilities:
This position provides senior technical Tableau development support to a federal government client including:
• Providing technical analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance support of large-scale enterprise data warehouse reporting and querying environment employing Oracle Federal Financials applications and associated interfaces.
• Providing expert Tableau programing, query and dashboard development including tuning and optimizing queries and reports.
• Support Tableau administration and configuration validation.
• Support data analytics and data visioning for Federal Financial applications.
• Developing integrated data stores and data extraction routines for an enterprise data warehouse.
• Work closely with other members of the Tableau development team and provide senior technical support and guidance as required.
Requirements:
Successful candidates shall have the following skills/abilities:
• Must have exceptional analytic skills and demonstrated ability to perform critical thinking to resolve complex issues. This will be thoroughly evaluated during any interview.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface directly with senior customers.
• Must have 5 years of detailed specific Tableau query and dashboard development skills.
• 10 years of progressive Oracle Federal Financials experience using Oracle databases.
• Experience with developing and administering Tableau environments.
• Extensive experience with joining disparate data sources into meaningful, useable queries and dashboards is required.
• Federal administrative application experience is highly desirable.
• Expertise in all aspects of the modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) development approaches that integrate IT security.
• Expert experience implementing production quality queries and reports including development of “As Implemented” documentation.
• Must have demonstrated technical skills focused on resolving issues and problems.
• Ability to analyze complex inputs and translate data into well-defined system requirements.
• Experience interacting with reporting teams, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior staff as part of operations support.
• Experience in Business Intelligence data marts.
• Familiarity with tools such as TOAD is desirable
