Job Title: Unity Asset Animator
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Unity Asset Animator to join our team and bring life to our game assets through dynamic animations. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling through motion and a strong grasp of Unity’s animation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality animations for characters, environments, objects, and effects using Unity.
- Work closely with designers and developers to ensure animations align with gameplay requirements and artistic vision.
- Rig and skin 3D models for animation when necessary.
- Optimize animations for performance while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate animations seamlessly into the game engine.
- Troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues within Unity.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Animator, preferably in game development.
- Proficiency in Unity and its animation systems (e.g., Animator Controller, Animation Rigging).
- Strong skills in rigging, skinning, and animating 3D assets.
- Familiarity with industry-standard 3D tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
- Understanding of animation principles and how they translate to interactive media.
- Ability to take direction and feedback while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion capture workflows.
- Knowledge of game development pipelines and asset optimization.
- Familiarity with scripting in Unity (e.g., C#).
- Previous experience working on shipped titles or projects.
