Multimedia Designer / Graphic Designer / E-learning Designer

Location : Remote and Onsite Twice a week ( Pensacola, FL )

Duration : Long-term ongoing open ended contract

To design and develop complex multimedia elements (graphics; animations; audio; video and print) and apply agile techniques to develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction; Web based training, video-based learning solutions, and software simulations to support employee learning and development initiatives and business unit objectives across the organization. To create courseware to meet business unit training needs and enhance the employee learning experience. To provide multimedia services to help deliver key communications and enable greater productivity. Works under limited supervision. Uses moderate discretion to modify work practices / processes. Adapt and learn new learning technologies and delivery approaches. Collaborate with a team of experienced developers and instructional designers to implement innovative and creative learning multimedia solutions. Conduct digital video production such as planning, taping, editing, sound mixing, design, compression, and output. Responsible for the production of complex, interactive multimedia presentations and web-based training, created to present and clarify complex subject matter to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities :

Create Flash / XML-based reinforcement / promotional games and animations - Complex / Difficult

Create dynamic instructional and training materials using current technologies including references and support tools that reinforce training, increase efficiency and help produce error-free work

Create original designs for product demonstrations, quick reference guides, fact sheets, executive presentations, brochures / catalogs / flyers, web designs, videos, and logos / icons - Complex / Difficult

Design the graphical user interface; create and / or enhance images and video and audio formats; convert analog movies to digital format - Complex / Difficult

Develop and create print design and support materials including agenda booklets, banners and signage (branding), name tags, name tents, network maps, eGram announcements, etc. - Complex / Difficult

Perform pre-production work to include developing video concepts, collaborating with writers on storyboarding, and scouting and preparing site locations or studio environment - Moderately Complex / Varied

Provide consultation surrounding technical and design guidance - Moderately Complex / Varied

Provides technical support and troubleshooting Advanced

Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals - Advanced analysis

Collaborate with a wide range of internal business contacts to implement processes, new applications and system enhancements - Assist in leading

Conduct and / or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results - Assist in leading

Qualifications :

Significant experience in creating animations and interactive elements for e-Learning courseware in animation software

Significant experience in developing graphical user interfaces

Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and / or in a team environment to achieve goals

Significant experience in multimedia development and production, preferably in a corporate setting

Significant experience in providing direction and guidance for multimedia projects from a conceptual phase through implementation and in the completion of design and production projects / processes

Significant experience in recording / editing audio, video, and digital photographs for eLearning courseware and other media formats

Significant experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multidimensional teams and projects

Advanced knowledge of media principles, including an understanding of the uses and advantages / disadvantages of different media channels

Advanced knowledge of training techniques and practices

Advanced analyzing and resolving design problems with unique and creative solutions

Advanced database and presentation software skills

Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills.

Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Advanced skill capturing and translating processes and requirements into easily understood terms

Advanced skill communicating with all levels within an organization

Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
