Multimedia Designer
Location : Remote and Onsite Twice a week ( Pensacola, FL )
Duration : Long-term ongoing open ended contract
To design and develop complex multimedia elements (graphics; animations; audio; video and print) and apply agile techniques to develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction; Webbased training, video-based learning solutions, and software simulations to support employee learning and development initiatives and business unit objectives across the organization. To create courseware to meet business unit training needs and enhance the employee learning experience. To provide multimedia services to help deliver key communications and enable greater productivity. Works under limited supervision. Uses moderate discretion to modify work practices / processes. Adapt and learn new learning technologies and delivery approaches. Collaborate with a team of experienced developers and instructional designers to implement innovative and creative learning multimedia solutions. Conduct digital video production such as planning, taping, editing, sound mixing, design, compression, and output. Responsible for the production of complex, interactive multimedia presentations and web-based training, created to present and clarify complex subject matter to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities :
Create Flash / XML-based reinforcement / promotional games and animations - Complex / DifficultCreate dynamic instructional and training materials using current technologies including references and support tools that reinforce training, increase efficiency and help produce error-free workCreate original designs for product demonstrations, quick reference guides, fact sheets, executive presentations, brochures / catalogs / flyers, web designs, videos, and logos / icons - Complex / DifficultDesign the graphical user interface; create and / or enhance images and video and audio formats; convert analog movies to digital format - Complex / DifficultDevelop and create print design and support materials including agenda booklets, banners and signage (branding), name tags, name tents, network maps, eGram announcements, etc. - Complex / DifficultPerform pre-production work to include developing video concepts, collaborating with writers on storyboarding, and scouting and preparing site locations or studio environment - Moderately Complex / VariedProvide consultation surrounding technical and design guidance - Moderately Complex / VariedProvides technical support and troubleshooting – AdvancedResearch emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals - Advanced analysisCollaborate with a wide range of internal business contacts to implement processes, new applications and system enhancements - Assist in leadingConduct and / or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results - Assist in leadingEnsure clear, concise and effective communication of material - Assist in leadingMaintain and improve knowledge through professional associations, conferences, and seminars - AdvancedManage multiple projects under tight deadlines across a broad variety of product categories and audiences - Assist in leadingMonitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule; collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met - Considerable impactServe as mentor / trainer and provide guidance and assistance to team membersServe as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies and / or procedures – AdvancedServe on teams and task groups for projects / initiatives within the business unit & / or across the organization - Assist in leadingPerform other duties as assignedQualifications :
