What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stockroom Clerk position at ZIM Aircraft Seating GmbH?
JOB SUMMARY :
Perform duties related to storing, inventory control and parts issuance. Provide information on revolving inventory levels as requested. Fill material requisitions promptly and accurately. Report discrepancies and material shortages.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
- Set up and maintain shelving as required to ensure accurate and functional parts accountability and issuance.
- Issue and deliver parts to production areas in a timely manner while observing lean concepts.
- Perform Inventory counts as needed to assure accurate inventory levels.
- Review daily floor stock locations to determine replenishment requirements.
- Set up quarantine areas as needed to comply with FAA / DAS requirements.
- Ensures that the stockroom is kept clean, safe and orderly.
SECONDARY DUTIES :
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Team Lead or Logistics Supervisor.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Accountable to the Team Lead or Logistics Supervisor in all daily functions.
