JOB SUMMARY:
Directs and coordinates activities of all assigned seating, reconfiguration and retrofit programs. This includes programs oversight of program delivery and quality of direct materials, raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies required to support plant activities, production, and aftermarket needs. Responsible for all Supply Chain functionality as an Integrated Programs Team leader who engages in cross-functional IPT membership, Configuration Control Board (CCB) and make-buy engagement, Program Kit Fill Rate, Days Payable Outstanding and Defective Material Report processing, as well managing each Program’s long-lead Bill of Material.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Lead the Supply Chain functionality for all Programs Procurement assigned programs. In this role, the leader will be responsible to develop and implement Program Procurement strategies for Cabin Solutions product and services in order to optimize and protect the supply chain, deliver best value (total landed cost) while maintaining quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness objectives. This leader will also engage, influence and direct cross-functional stakeholders during program development and execution, including responsibility to engage in Integrated Programs Teams and Supply Chain leadership team as business needs arise.
- Develop strong relationships with and actively engage leaders within Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, and the Cabin Solutions Senior Leadership Team
- Assess Program proposal and execution risk, identify and resolve conflicts, and develop contingency and mitigation plans to deliver program deliverables on schedule, and compliant with internal and Customer requirements. Facilitate program communication, interaction and flow with all stakeholders from a SC perspective
- Confers with Integrated Programs Team to provide technical advice and to solve problems
- Provides strong leadership to Supply Chain team including employee development and performance management
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of procurement basics, ethical business conduct, legal and contractual principles, and protection of ZIM Aircraft Cabin Solutions, supplier and customer proprietary data by complying with company policies, procedures and accepted business practices
- Works closely with the operations team to support program needs for both OEM and aftermarket Customers
- Foster increased productivity by personal commitment to professional development and by practicing continuous improvement of processes
- Responsible for oversight and delivery execution of assigned Programs requirements and Supply Chain processes
- Responsible for coordinating with materials, operations, engineering, finance, quality, and field operations to complete projects and achieve expected benefits within project timeline

- Will serve as an active participant in business unit productivity gate reviews ensuring required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined Responsible for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate
- Will investigate, coordinate, and communicate project changes; will create and make revisions to project schedules, business cases, risk assessments and other project management tools; will create and conduct presentations for project approvals and monthly status
- Will identify gaps to goals and collaboratively develop and support countermeasures and activities to close the gap and exceed targets
- Will coordinate continuous improvement and margin enhancement initiative sessions and generate and evaluate new ideas and opportunities aligned with Business Unit priorities and strategies Implement and track cost savings, spending compliance and variances and prepare reports on those efforts for Senior Management.
- Carry out Programs Procurement responsibilities in accordance with Supply Chain's policies

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years of Supply Chain experience or an equivalent combination of an advanced degree and professional experience
- Extensive experience in aerospace supply chain and programs procurement, and program management
- Sound understanding of business agreements and general business practices
- Ability to manage multiple work assignments and meet critical deadlines
- High integrity and an unyielding commitment to compliance
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and related processes required
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility with, interact with, and influence external and internal Customers, and key stakeholders in a matrixed organization; ability to build strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, especially in the aerospace industry
- Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicore preferred)
- Working experience with Aircraft OEMs (i.e. Boeing or Airbus), Aircraft OEM suppliers, and/or airline customers for existing and new product development
- Working knowledge of aerospace interior components a plus
- Working knowledge of composites, plastics, metals and soft goods a plus
- Proven experience using cost reduction and process optimization tools such as Design for x (manufacturability, cost, etc), Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Normal office environment where approximately 80% of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office area, Stores area and Manufacturing and Assembly areas.
- Filing duties require typical bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, etc.
- Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
- International and domestic travel may be required, up to 5%.
- Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs.
