Inventory Returns Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and effective Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and supporting the overall efficiency of our medical equipment supply operations. This position requires adaptability and a solid understanding of inventory management processes within a distribution center environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inventory to make sure equipment is full, accurate, and tidy.
• Analyze and rectify physical and systematic inventory discrepancies and make sure every piece is accounted for.
• Communicate with the team in order to get equipment out the door in time for surgeries.
• Organize the shelves to make the order fulfillment process seamless and efficient.
• Return inventory back into our office and back into our computer system in a timely manner.
• Investigate where certain products are located within our territory and when they will be coming back.
• Assist in the physical movement of products within the office as needed.
• Find solutions when inventory doesn't make it back to the office.
• Fill kits to make sure they are valid and ready for surgeries.

Skills

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to adapt and serve whatever role is needed at any given time.
• Quick learner who can pick things up on the go.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with urgent needs from clients and hospitals.
• Works well in a team environment where different roles must work together throughout each day.

Your Background

• 2 years related experience, preferably within the medical device industry
• Experience with Inventory Control practices and data analysis.
• SAP experience and proficiency preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
