This role will support the adoption and implementation of electronic (EDI) and internet based communications as it relates to order-to-cash business processes (PO, POA, Invoice, ASN, Pricing, etc.). This includes basic set up and flow of data activities involved in on-boarding new customers and acting as a liaison between the field sales office, the customer and ZBS. This individual is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day EDI-related systems and business process procedures are maintained and properly executed, including EDI exception monitoring and resolution, item scrubbing/loading, basic reporting and system change testing, and field sales force training.

How You'll Create Impact
- Position is responsible for working with new trading partners (accounts), adding transactions to current partners, organizing EDI trading partner activity, setting priorities, resolving trading partner issues and item scrubs.
- Assist in coordinating activities with e-Commerce providers and support the development and implementation of changes to Zimmer Biomet systems required to support all transaction sets and any new electronic transaction sets such as pricing, medsurg dealer rebates, GPO administrative fees, electronic letters of commitment, advance ship notices, etc.
- Conduct required training to ensure adherence to the business process and identify emerging requirements.
- Constantly evaluate the overall process and individual customer processes.
- Review all new customer application requests
- Assist in a variety of related projects as assigned.
- This individual must be able to make decisions, evaluate processes and make recommendations in relation to all business processes that are managed electronically.
- This individual will need to have a basic understanding of the order-to-cash/supply chain process as it relates to trading partners, distributor offices, GPO’s, medsurg dealers and Zimmer Biomet corporate to implement electronic processes to reduce costs and drive operational efficiencies for all parties involved.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in team environment and interact with many departments on all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably including formal studies in business or information systems required. One to two years of experience working with information systems or e-Commerce activities related to order-to-cash/supply chain strongly preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience with EDI mapping and ANSI X12 transaction sets such as 810, 850, 855, 856, 832, 867, etc. is a plus
- Experience with GS1 standards and AS2, VAN (GHX and/or GXS systems) is a plus.
- SAP IDOC and GIS (Gentran) experience is a plus.
