The 3rd Shift Materials Processor & Handler will:
- Coordinate the movement of both inbound and outbound trucks containing raw materials, work-in-process and all types of products and/or goods.
- Process paperwork as required to complete these functions.
- Use wands to complete transactions.
- Coordinate the movement of product and/or goods throughout the operations to include processing of shop work orders, pulling product, shipping product, inventory cycle counts and movement through various work streams following Good Manufacturing Practices.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for receiving, scanning, moving, counting and preparing orders for internal & outside processing from the manufacturing departments and external vendors/suppliers.
- Loading and unloading trucks, racks and product movement to supply materials to manufacturing work cells or external partners
- Prepares the necessary paperwork for his/her own work and coordinates the paperwork for outside processing and shipping as required. Paperwork must always be completed and follow Good Documentation Practices.
- Responsible for the replenishment of material racks and stocking of materials/product in assigned area(s).
- Responsible for storage of material, cycle counting and inventory accuracy for assigned area(s).
- Coordinates the movement of orders and prepare paperwork as necessary. This may be internal shop work order documentation or required paperwork for external shipments, filing and archiving.
- Responsible for movement of materials/products using forklift, pallet jack or electric pallet jack as necessary while following QMS, 5S and safety standards.

Expected Areas of Competence
- Must be able to handle weights up to 75 lbs. in accordance with safe lifting techniques. Safe lifting techniques include requesting assistance from another employee, use of a hand truck, use of a pallet jack, or use of a forklift driven by a trained operator.
- Knowledge of Personal Computer operations and electronic manufacturing systems to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Knowledge of receiving and shipping control methods and procedures is necessary
- Must be able to perform simple math calculation and follow Good Documentation Practices.
- Read and understand internal and supplier documentation such as shop work orders, packing slips, shipping labels, BOL, purchase orders, certifications, labels and understand where the product needs to go.
Education/Experience Requirements
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
