Key Responsibilities
This role will utilize communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers. The position requires maintaining expert knowledge of the Zimmer Biomet portfolio to consult on surgical procedures. It reports to the RSD, RSM, or Sales Team Leader within a defined territory or region.
Impact Creation
- Builts strong relationships with key surgeons, continuing to build knowledge and expertise in main products segments (Reconstructive, Extremities, ROSA, Surgical, Sports Medicine, and Trauma) with clinical proficiency.
- During procedures, uses product knowledge to solve problems and inform surgeons and OR staff on proper use and maintenance of Zimmer Biomet products.
- Coordinates surgery schedules, including templating for cases based on expertise and product knowledge.
- Requests implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.
- Post-procedure, ensures all Zimmer Biomet products used are properly accounted for billing and inventory replenishment.
- Reports on competitor and customer activities in the field.
- Supports Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas, and references.
- Develops relationships with internal support personnel.
- Provides after-hour and/or evening case coverage and add-on case coverage for the team and/or territory, including weekend and on-call case coverage and add-on case coverage for the team and/or territory.
- Collaborates with and provides sales support for the team and/or territory, including transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants for day, evening, add-on, or weekend cases.
Requirements
- Must be mobile and willing to travel.
- Will be able to carry weights up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Able to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail.

Your Background
- Minimum of an Associate degree, medical certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of sales or sales service experience in medical devices, surgery.
