What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service BDC Associate position at Zimmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram?
- Communicate effectively with service customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or in person)
- Manage calls and respond to inquiries regarding setting up service appointments.
- Calling on After Market Warranty companies for authorization of parts and labor.
- Communicate back to advisor so they can notify customer and technician to proceed or not.
- Follow up on the status of aftermarket warranty customers to see if parts are in, and then schedule an appointment for customer unless their vehicle is still at the Dealership.
- Notify Advisor and Shop Foreman so work can get complete, and vehicle appropriately repaired.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate has customer service and/or a warranty background of some sort, is a hard-working professional with experience providing exceptional customer service.
- Previous customer service experience a plus
- Previous call center experience is a plus
- Requires strong communication skills to work most effectively with customers
- Must be Internet savvy, have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent follow through and follow up skills
