What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Shipping and Receiving Associate position at Zimmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram?
Essential Duties
- Stage all tagged parts for am delivery to designated parts run.
- Pull pick tickets from early morning and tag parts going to designated parts run.
- Deliver parts to designated parts run by 9:15 am, no later than 9:20 am and 3:00 pm
- Help when needed with parts deliveries and pickups.
- Assist with receiving and staging parts for next day’s deliveries.
- Accept all deliveries from vendors and fully process.
- Continue picking for parts throughout the day.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Keeps work area clean. Other tasks as assigned

Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
