What are the responsibilities and job description for the Classic Rock/AC Program Director position at Zimmer Communications?
Zimmer Communications in Columbia, Missouri is looking for a Program Director and Afternoon On-Air Talent to lead our Classic Rock station 96.7 KCMQ and Adult Contemporary stations 101.9 The Wave (KZWV) & 98.7 The Dove (KTXR).
Take the helm in steering our brands by curating compelling content that captivates our audience across diverse platforms such as radio, web, podcasts, videos, social media, and beyond. Join forces with a dedicated team spanning across multiple departments all working to amplify both revenue and listenership.
The ideal candidate would embody our company's core values (listed below), have outstanding organization, shares our deep passion for the power of radio, is a wizard at solving problems, understands how to communicate with different personalities, can create and execute a vision for future success, has Classic Rock radio experience, and is a service-based leader.
Other skills would include the ability to coach air talent, planning, goal setting/ tracking, Wide Orbit Automation tactician, sales-oriented, and is self-motivated
