What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk position at Zimmer Tractor?

This is a temporary position until June of 2025. This position could turn into a full-time permanent position in another department after the return of our current parts clerk.
SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE
Promptly complete all out-of-stock or special-order parts requests.
Deliver correctly completed parts orders to the customer (both internal and external) within the time frame promised.
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Make necessary entries to the inventory control system, assuring proper records are kept for all transactions.
Assist in annual physical parts inventory.
Perform periodical parts returns and file proper claims to the manufacturer.
Maintain display shelf stock, parts bins, and seasonal items.
Perform necessary housekeeping duties to ensure the proper appearance of the parts area.
Assist in verifying costing, pricing, and totaling of parts invoices and work orders.
