What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Assembly Technician position at Zimmerer Kubota & Equipment, Inc.?
Position Description : Safely, accurately, and efficiently complete final assembly of tractors to meet customer demand. Position Responsibilities :
- Uncrate front loader frames and unbolt parts from pallets and install parts on to tractor front end.
- Remove bolts from installed valve and add auxiliary valve to tractor and install control handle to tractor.
- Install drive shafts to 4 wheel drive tractors.
- Install control handles for front loader on tractors and remove mat install handle cut mat and pad and reinstall in tractors.
- Inspect tractors for correct parts and assembly.
- Install roll over protection system on tractors.
- Install fenders on tractors.
- Perform rework on units if / when needed.
- Check the quality of completed units and confirm they are equipped to customers requests and submit completed checklists.
- Drive completed units to staging area.
- May oversee the return of recycled crates and tires to KBT.
