What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internship, Copywriter (Summer 2025) position at Zimmerman Advertising?
As a member of the Zimmerman InfuZion Internship Program, you will experience advertising in its full glory! You'll be expected to go above and beyond to meet the Client’s goals. Top executives and experienced professionals are available to lend you their expertise to ensure that you are prepared for success.
Do not be fooled, this program is not for the faint of heart. This 10-week program takes determination, collaboration, and commitment at all levels. The InfuZion experience introduces participants to all facets of the advertising industry, retail, fashion, auto, creative, strategy, media, analytics and more.
Copywriter Intern Responsibilitie s :
Produce excellent work for clients, both creatively as well as effectively, in multiple media types including, but not limited to, print, digital, outdoor, and collateral.
Translate concepts to production-ready scripts and / or copy sheets.
Maintain best practices for file and server management, including the consistent application of naming conventions, file / folder organization, versioning control, script details, and more.
Maintain client brand guidelines and copy standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Process information supplied by clients and Account Services and translate into effective copy.
Proofread all communications developed by the creative team and ensure information accuracy.
Possess a positive attitude when working with colleagues, associates, and clients. Be solutions-oriented, and supportive in finding solutions to unexpected challenges.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills :
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in Journalism, Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, or similar
Program recommended for upcoming Junior or Seniors (with a December 2025 or May 2026 graduation date)
Able to commit to Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm for the entire 10 weeks of the program (Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – Friday, August 08, 2025)
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook with the ability to learn new computer systems
Exudes maturity and professionalism in line with that of a full-time associate, and shows dedication and commitment to the program and work performed
