Job Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Assembly/Weld Department. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in creating high-quality products by welding, fabricating, and bending materials while managing production schedules to meet quotas. Key Responsibilities
- Welding & Fabrication: Perform MIG welding, cutting, and shaping metal components to meet production specifications.
- Material Preparation: Operate bending, cutting, and other machinery as needed to prepare materials for assembly.
- Assembly Work: Collaborate with team members to assemble components and products according to quality standards.
- Schedule Management: Set and adjust your production schedule to meet changing project demands and quotas.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot challenges in the fabrication or assembly process and implement effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Adjust to piecework changes and ensure timely production of customized and evolving product designs.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect and ensure all work meets company standards and client specifications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication (MIG preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic workload.
- Flexible and able to manage changing priorities in a manufacturing environment.
