What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ecommerce Operations Assistant - US position at Zimmermann?
ZIMMERMANN is currently seeking an Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our Online Team on a full-time basis.
Based in our New York Head Office and reporting to our US eCommerce Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting efficient and accurate running of online logistics and fulfillment in the US market.
Key responsibilities
Overall
- Monitor the day-to-day SFS fulfilment operations and assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Responsible for amending SFS P&Ps and support onboarding and refresh training of store teams on the online order fulfillment process.
- Work cross functionally with retail teams to encourage omnichannel operational success by upholding a one-client mindset
- Monitor and log all store order errors on a weekly basis and report to global head office.
- Manage in-store Same Day pick up scheduling and international label creation for stores and 3PLs.
- Oversee packaging level for US stores and ensure monthly stock take is completed.
- Main liaison between Client Service and in-store fulfillment teams to meet speedy response timelines and uphold a best-in-class service standard
- Support IT and project teams in the execution and post launch maintenance of omnichannel projects
- Assist in reallocating online orders when necessary to optimize all inventory within stores and the 3PL.
- Provide support to the overall ecommerce operations teams to ensure all tasks are completed within SLA to uphold Zimmermann service standards
- Assist in processing online returns to support the 3PL functions
- On occasion, process and fulfill Online orders from stores that may need additional support.
Returns
- Support team in processing all returns within 5 working days of being received.
- Investigate and resolve any damages within the return window.
- Improve the efficiency of the returns process through a stage two integration with third party shipper.
