Job Summary
This position will be involved in both direct and indirect tax compliance, global tax provision and accounting, transfer pricing, research, and overall management of tax positions on a domestic basis. This role is intended to provide an individual with a well-rounded tax experience that will build a foundation for continual growth and career opportunities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and / or review tax workpapers and supporting documentation to meet US (Federal, State, and Local) tax compliance requirements.
- Support the quarterly and year-end global tax provision and financial audit deliverables.
- Prepare and / or review and file indirect tax returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings in the US, and outside the US as required
- Reconcile tax basis fixed assets.
- Review tax account reconciliations and journal entities.
- Review and reconcile tax notices and respond to audit information requests from taxing authorities.
- Research new or existing legislation to present to management for action.
- Assist with global transfer pricing documentation and analyses.
- Support tax planning projects as they arise.
