About the role You will work closely with engineers on various backend microservices (developed in Golang) and some frontend UI (developed in React/Redux). You will design, implement, deploy, and maintain features and services that are used by hundreds of Connection Specialists to help millions of Zillow customers. This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Who you are BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or have applicable experience Strong experience with backend development in one or more programming languages: Golang/Java/Python/C# Good understanding of OOP principles and testing Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCE, or Azure Working knowledge with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra Ability to multi-task optimally and easily adapt within a fast-paced environment Validated ability to learn new technologies quickly Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience in addressing large application deployment architectures and concerns such as performance, reliability, scalability, availability and security Get to know us Zillow is reimagining real estate to make home a reality for more and more people.
