Job Summary
- 100% onsite in Savannah, GA
- Salary: $75-90k, based upon experience
- Standard 1st shift hours, M-F schedule
- Looking to start ASAP
- Serve as the technical expert in your assigned area during vehicle launches and ongoing production.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for daily production issues, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Prepare and deliver presentations/reports on the status of current projects, progress, and challenges to management.
- Oversee labor allocation and help ensure resources are used efficiently in production.
- Lead key project activities, including the installation of new equipment, supplier selection, and the implementation of new processes.
- Analyze and continually improve performance in the areas of safety, quality, production efficiency, cost reduction, and human factors.
- Collaborate in Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) and engage in problem-solving activities to address production challenges.
- Stay current with technical developments in the automotive industry and recommend new technology projects to enhance production.
- Ensure compliance with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) protocols.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to drive continuous improvement within the assembly process.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- At least 2 years of experience in vehicle production or automotive manufacturing.
- Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication.
- Experience in an engineering or industrial manufacturing environment.
