EHS Manager Job Summary

• $85,000 - $100,000 annual salary
• 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
• Plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal OSHA rules and regulations. Prepares annual OSHA 300 log.
• Develops monthly training plan for supervisor's employee safety meetings.
• Prepares monthly safety reports for management review.
• Inspects plant facility to detect existing or potential accident or health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures and follows up with appropriate department personnel to ensure compliance.
• Assists in the preparation of material and evidence for company use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
  
  

EHS Manager Qualifications

• Proficient use of Word/Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and possessing good interpersonal skills.
• Undergraduate degree in Safety/Health/Environmental discipline preferred.
• 5 years of experience in an industrial safety environment.
• MSDS maintenance.
