Injection Mold Maintenance Technician

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking Maintenance Technician's to join their team on a direct hire basis. The ideal candidate for the Injection Molding Maintenance Technician role will be responsible for the safe repair and troubleshooting of injection molding maintenance equipment. This includes installation, preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and decommissioning of equipment and machinery.

Injection Mold Maintenance Technician Summary

• Direct Hire
• $32.50 Hourly , .50 shift diff
• 2nd Shift 3:30pm-11:00pm
• 3rd Shift 11:00pm-7:00am
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, pipe fitting, carpentry, plumbing, welding & fabrication, sheet metal working, machining, rigging, erection, HVAC, refrigeration, etc.
• Assist in start-up and shutdown of the facility.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition; maintain inventory of consumable parts.
• Maintain shop calibration requirements.
  
  

Injection Mold Maintenance Technician Education And Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year college degree or applicable technical training and certification preferred
• Two plus years in injection molding maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude: ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems; electrical and hydraulic experience; experience with rubber and/or plastic extrusion/injection molding equipment.
• Forklift/lift truck/aerial lift operator experience is a plus.
• Ability to read metric and imperial prints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
