Payment Processor

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent organization in the Clearwater, FL area, is seeking an experienced Payment Processor to join their team! This role is essential for ensuring timely and precise handling of incoming payments.

Summary Of Responsibilities

Pay: $19-$22 per hour (DOE)

• Sort, open, organize, and scan incoming mail using high-speed OPEX scanners.
• Package processed remittances for delivery to clients and banks.
• Ensure all accounts are processed according to client specifications.
• Maintain established production and accuracy standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Site Manager.
• Flexibility to cross-train in related roles and assist with various business needs.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payment processing, working in a HIPAA-compliant facility, financial institution, or lockbox experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literate and proficient with a 10-key pad.
• Basic math skills and good hand-eye coordination.
• High school diploma required.
• Background check and drug screening required.
