Production Associate

Zing Recruiting has partnered with a local company and is searching for a Production Associate to join their team! As a Production Associate, you would be responsible for working in many different areas of the facility, including assisting with packaging, manufacturing, labeling, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to follow work instructions, great computer skills, and someone who works well with others. Qualified applicants are encouraged to apply now!

Position Summary

• Title: Production Associate
• Location: Kalamazoo, MI
• Pay Rate: $17-18/hr
• Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm, M-F
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing team through operating machinery in packaging area
• Monitor equipment/machinery to ensure successful products are produced
• Package finished goods into appropriate containers according to customer requirements
• Apply labels to products/containers and verify for accuracy
• Assist with cycle counting
• Restock materials as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED) required
• 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area helpful, but not required
• Food manufacturing or packaging experience helpful, but not required
