Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Reedsville, PA within the plastics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team.

Production Supervisor Job Summary

Shift: Rotating days and nights

Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Sun. dayshift 8 am – 8:15 pm

Wed, Thu, Fri, every other Sat. night shift 8 pm – 8:15 am

Relocation Assistance available

Pay: $67K-$83\K

• Troubleshoot and adjust molding processes to maintain quality and production standards.
• Manage production floor operations, including mold setups, manpower utilization, and material efficiencies.
• Direct real-time and preventative maintenance on equipment; coordinate with Maintenance Staff.
• Coordinate mold maintenance and repair schedules with the Tooling Team.
• Provide timely communication for shift changes and submit required reports.
• Ensure adequate supplies are available; order additional as needed.
• Ensure fair treatment of employees and provide performance evaluations and feedback.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide ongoing training to employees for continuous improvement.
• Support Quality Management System adherence.
  
  

Production Supervisor Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Three to five years processing injection molding experience.
• Three to five years of supervisory or lead experience. Thorough knowledge of safety specifications and procedures.
• Understanding of Quality standards and systems including Statistical Process Control and other quality measurements.
• Standing skills necessary to perform mold changes as required.
• Heavy lifting and heavy limb movements in excess of 40 pounds as much as 4-5 times per hour.
• Spoken communication skills to lead others.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
