Quality Assurance Improvement Engineer Specialist Job Summary

Direct Hire/Full Time/Day Shift

Pay/Salary: $75K

Benefits: Full Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental) Paid Holidays (15)/Paid time off/401K

• Review and analyze warranty, IQS, and other customer feedback to determine priorities for improvement.
• Update customer feedback database with improvement activities and status.
• Communicate with cross-functional departments to ensure understanding of customer issues and improvements.
• Visit suppliers and/or dealers, when required, to investigate and determine countermeasure effectiveness.
• Coordinate and conduct internal campaign for quality flow-outs to customers and issue reports.
• Investigate and inform responsible departments of external quality concerns. Work with departments to identify root causes, implement containment and develop countermeasures in a timely manner.
• Checks the field’s TSB and creates its own TSB once the field campaign is determined.
• Issue reports and presentations regularly to inform customers on progress and results.
• Support and coordinate plant-wide and department-wide quality planning, conferences, and events for external customers.
  
  

Quality Assurance Improvement Engineer Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of automotive industry quality standards and regulations.
• Proficient in MS office and other relevant software.
