Senior Finance Manager

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent automobile manufacturer in the Savannah, GA area, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join their team! This is a direct hire opportunity that offers a wide range of perks and benefits!

Essential Responsibilities

Pay: $140-$170k (Opportunities for relocation)

• Lead and Oversee: Manage the General Accounting, Treasury, and Tax functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies.
• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cash flow, tax efficiency, and financial reporting accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Supervise financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• External Relationships: Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
• Strategic Insights: Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other regulatory standards.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies.
• Risk Management: Lead financial risk management initiatives, including currency risk, liquidity risk, and investment planning.
• Tax Planning: Oversee tax planning and compliance, optimizing corporate tax strategies to align with business objectives.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and drive cost reduction initiatives.
• Team Development: Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or tax, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
• Expertise in managing external audits, tax compliance, and treasury functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial management software (SAP preferred).
• Strong knowledge of corporate financing strategies and capital structure optimization.
• Experience in developing and implementing financial control systems and risk management frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for financial data visualization and reporting.
