Shipping and Receiving Associate

Zing Recruiting in partnership with a leading manufacturing industry! They are a prominent producer of high-volume, precision injection molded parts, dedicated to delivering innovative plastic solutions for core markets such as Consumer Products, Medical/Healthcare, Personal Care, Health & Beauty, Caps & Closures, and Packaging. With five locations worldwide, we pride ourselves on our proprietary engineering processes and extensive manufacturing capabilities.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes, contributing to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $20.00 per hour | Shift: M-F, 8am to 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials to maintain accurate inventory.
• Monitor the customer order subsystem in our ERP system to initiate shipping activities.
• Schedule and process orders on time to meet customer expectations.
• Weigh, label, store, and ship finished goods while adhering to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
• Oversee the receiving of incoming shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and routing for inspection.
• Move materials and finished goods within the facility as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Communicate any inventory and shipment issues to your Supervisor or designated personnel.
• Train and guide junior team members to ensure they are prepared to backfill positions as needed.
• Support the QMS by adhering to system requirements and plant safety rules.
• Assist in monitoring the quality of work output and maintain compliance with company policies.
• Foster good working relationships with all employees and report any concerns to your Supervisor.
• Maintain regular attendance to fulfill essential job functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles.
• Ability to operate forklifts (both sit-down and standing).
• Basic office skills for system entries and paperwork.
