Surgery Coordinator

Immediately hiring a Surgery Coordinator in Tampa, Florida for a long-standing customer. The Surgery Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of surgical instruments and implants and be responsible for safely transporting inventory between warehouse and medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage surgical inventory using surgery management systems and FedEx programs (loan, receive, ship, issue, and monitor inventory).
• Ensure safe and timely transportation of medical devices and instruments to hospitals and surgical centers.
• Coordinate with sales teams to confirm requisitions are submitted accurately and on time. Perform packing, labeling, and shipping of instruments and implants per company protocols.
• Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call rotation and be available for some holiday coverage.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory coordination, (medical device or healthcare industry preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to identify medical products and understand surgical inventory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license required for transportation of inventory.
