Zink has immediate openings for 1Production Maintenance Technician to work on our manufacturing floor.
This is a Night Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5 pm to 3:30 AM 4-Ten hour shifts. A great Zink perk is that you will always enjoy every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. You read that correctly. You will never have to work on a weekend!
Occasional exposure to process chemicals; occasional work with low overhead situations, occasional noise, occasional work in elevated temperatures, occasional work at elevated heights, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
In this role, you will provide first-line maintenance and technical support to the Production Process to keep equipment in top working order. You will work closely with production and engineering groups to solve problems, provide failure analysis, and recommend long term solutions to process and equipment problems. You will conduct routine preventative maintenance on the equipment in your area of responsibility. Depending on the area of the manufacturing plant that you are assigned to work, you may be supporting up to 40 employees, working on 9 different assembly lines.
EXPERIENCE
Prior manufacturing maintenance experience is desired, . We welcome candidates with military experience. If you are a recent technical grad with no work experience, we would like to speak with you.
Knowledge of the following any of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems and logic, instrumentation, rigging, welding, and machine shop.
SKILLS NEEDED
General knowledge of production processes and process equipment.
Ability to work unsupervised and to take responsibility for your assigned tasks.
Respond to and take measures to correct process equipment, instrumentation, and quality-related concerns.
Perform preventive maintenance on process equipment and instrumentation.
Perform predictive maintenance on process equipment per work order procedures and schedules.
Collect and record process data for maintenance and quality control programs.
Interpret process data and trends to determine equipment/ system performance.
Assist in development, correction and revision of departmental maintenance procedures, standards, and practices.
Research and troubleshoot reported equipment concerns to effect repairs.
Ability to read, write and solid mathematical skills necessary.
