As a Director, Corporate Development, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping our company’s long-term growth strategy. You will be responsible for leading high-impact corporate initiatives, including M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities. This role requires extensive experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, and deal execution, along with a strong understanding of the technology sector and SaaS landscape. You will work closely with executive leadership, the board of directors, and key stakeholders to drive transformational growth initiatives.

The expected salary range for this position is $220,000 - $250,000 dependent on skills and location. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and execute the company's corporate development strategy, including acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead and oversee the full M&A lifecycle, including sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and post-merger integration.
- Conduct complex financial modeling, valuation analysis, and strategic assessments to support executive decision-making.
- Drive the preparation and presentation of strategic recommendations to senior leadership and the board of directors.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, product, and operations, to ensure successful execution of corporate initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform and refine corporate strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investment banks, venture capital firms, private equity, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing corporate development team, providing strategic guidance and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA strongly preferred).
- 12 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading and executing M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and investment initiatives.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership and board members.
- Deep understanding of the technology sector, particularly SaaS, enterprise software, and digital transformation trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Experience in investment banking or a top tier consulting firm.
